DLT Solutions, a public-sector technology provider, has partnered with Centrify a provider of identity management software, in order to bring single sign-on, multi-factor authentication to government. The partnership will be focused on helping agencies protect against the leading point of attack used in data breaches – compromised credentials.

Centrify and DLT will be relying on the identity management capabilities of the Centrify Identity Platform. The platform secures an enterprise’s internal and external users, as well as its privileged accounts, against cyber threats across mobile, cloud and on-premise technologies. The platform is comprised of Centrify Identity Service, Centrify Privilege Service and Centrify Server Suite.

“All of the recent high-profile data breaches were due to compromised credentials,” said Jeremy Young, vice president, DLT’s cybersecurity division. DLT says it plans to use its public sector relationships and expertise to increase the adoption of multi-factor authentication and the Centrify platform.

The partnership with Centrify is the latest in DLT’s push to expand its cybersecurity offerings.  At the end of August, the company announced it would be working with FinalCode, a provider of file security software to bring FinalCode’s file-centric Digital Rights Management (DRM) solution to the public sector. The platform employs FinalCode’s standards-based cryptographic module which is currently in process for FIPS 140-2 Level 1 certification by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).

“FinalCode’s file collaboration security technology complements DLT’s data security portfolio to extend protection and control data leaks,” Young said.
