Accela Acquires IQM2 For Legislative Management

Accela, has acquired IQM2, a New York-based provider of legislative solutions to US clients. IQM2’s cloud solution unifies preparing, deciding and sharing the results and content of public meetings online. Accela already offers a broad range of licensing, permitting, and records management online services to public sector clients across all levels of government.

Accela will support all IQM2 solutions and their customers will now have the ability to provide open data through CivicData.com, Accela’s free open data portal, and take advantage of the ecosystem of developers and partners.

As a new Civic Platform solution, Accela Legislative Management will support all aspects of public meetings, from approval and decision workflow and minutes compiling to public information sharing through video streaming and electronic voting.

IQM2’s presence in the legislative management segment includes customers such as Riverside County, CA, Palo Alto, CA, Reno, NV, Travis County, TX, Westchester County, NY, Santa Clara, CA, and St. Lucie County, FL.
