Earlier this year, CivSource reported on BidNet which offers e-procurement software as a service. The company has launched a new solution and educational website for procurement professionals. The launch builds on BidNet’s existing offerings and is meant to serve as an online clearinghouse of information for purchasers.
SourceSuite is a cloud based e-procurement solution designed for purchasing professionals in both public and private organizations. The solution brings a greater level of efficiency and transparency to the bid process by making it easier to connect vendors and contracting opportunities, while making bids easier to track on the organizational side.
The software offering supports supplier qualification, electronic bidding, and document management. RFP management and audit tracking are also handled inside the software and throughout the lifecycle of the bid. Users can decide which feature modules they would like to use and configure a customized solution.
In addition to the software product, SourceSuite is offering a knowledgebase that includes information about common procurement challenges, along with information on how to solve them. BidNet already supports regional purchasing groups, which some states use for shared services or resource pooling, these features are also part of SourceSuite.
