ERF Wireless ERFB – the operator of the nation’s largest terrestrial wireless broadband network servicing the domestic oil and gas sector, has formed a new strategic partnership with Assisted Energy to provide reseller services in the Eagle Ford Shale play in South Texas. The agreement specifically names ERF Wireless Inc. as the exclusive reseller of lighting and surveillance equipment in the South Texas market as well as the entire states of Oklahoma and Louisiana.

Activity in the Shale regions continues apace and is one of the key parts of growth right now in the US economy. CivSource previously reported on a similar lighting and surveillance equipment company common to the war theaters of Afghanistan and Iraq now pitching its wares for border security and private sector ventures like the Shale.

Efforts by these companies highlight a growing trend of increased public and private surveillance of project sights and high value areas inside the US.

“We are pleased to be working with the Assisted Energy team. This strategic partnership allows our Energy Broadband Inc. subsidiary to take advantage of economies of scale by providing more services from our vast terrestrial network,” said Tim Maxson, COO of ERF Wireless.
