Texas launches website to attract business

Texas has launched a new website focused on attracting new business to the state. Texas Site Search is an interactive mapping tool that shows users available property and the surrounding area. The site aims to provide business with information for relocation or expansion throughout the state.

The mapping tool provides data on county lines, enterprise zones, airports, universities, ports, rail lines and local ED contacts. Users will also be able to see available property around their search terms. Users can also request access to add property information to the site.

The state will also be able to do 90% of its initial site selection screening online through the website.

“Texas is the best state in the nation to live and do business thanks to our reasonable and predictable regulatory climate, low taxes and skilled workforce,” Gov. Perry said. “TexasSiteSearch.com shines a spotlight on the many assets the Lone Star State has to offer, and provides yet another tool to help attract businesses and jobs to the state.”
