Florida’s Dept. of Management Services contracts for IT consulting

Last week, the State of Florida has contracted Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc. (ICS) for information technology consulting and staff augmentation services.

According to a release from the company, ICS has been awarded a three-year deal through the State of Florida’s Department of Management Services. The contract will allow all Florida state, county, municipal agencies and educational institutions to acquire information technology services.

Headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama, ICS has worked with Florida since 2004, providing IT services to the Florida Department of Revenue, Department of Children and Families, Dept. of Environmental Protection, Agency for Health Care Administration and the Agency for Workforce Innovation. ICS specializes in information security and security compliance issues.

“ICS is proud to continue our legacy of providing the highest caliber of information security and technology services to the State of Florida,” Steve Goldsby, ICS, Inc. CEO, said in a statement.

Florida is one of the company’s largest state-level clients, according to their website, listing them as being qualified for statewide IT consulting services, project management services and statewide risk assessment contracts. Terms of the agreement were not revealed, but according to the DMS website, ICS has performed at least $2.5 million worth of work with the state.
