GoGrid has launched partnerships with Basho, DataStax, and MongoDB. Through these partnerships, GoGrid places to advance its open data ecosystem by providing customers with a way to evaluate and run their applications in the only cloud purpose-built for Big Data. GoGrid and its partners, customers now have a frictionless path featuring a 1-Button Deploy orchestration process powered by Ansible.

Initial ODS 1-Button Deploy offerings include versions for MongoDB, Basho’s Riak, and Cassandra Big Data solutions, with 1-Button Deploy of Hortonworks’ Hadoop scheduled to go live in March. The ODS platform supports all leading Big Data technologies.

By deploying the technology, partners can now trim a process that previously took weeks or months to less than 10 minutes. The company has a number of competitors, but has invested in several initiatives to build out the ecosystem.

Open source bug data tools typically see greater adoption levels because of their interoperability. As CivSource has reported before big data is likely to make its first bug entry into public sector through public safety initiatives.
